Terms of service

Effective 8 September 2026. Reviewed against the products and policies described on this site. Have an attorney licensed in Texas read it before you rely on it: this is a commercial site in a regulated area and these terms carry real liability.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of esaanimalregistration.com and any product you buy through it. “We” and “us” mean the business trading as ESA Animal Registration, of 771 Virgil St, Abilene, TX 79602. “You” means the person using the site or buying a product. By using the site or completing a registration, you accept these terms.

2. What we provide

2.1 ID card registration

We create a record of the animal you register and issue a digital ID, a physical card, or both, along with a lookup number that a third party can check against our records.

2.2 Clinician consultation add-on

Where you purchase the add-on, we arrange an evaluation with a clinician licensed in your state. The clinical relationship is between you and that clinician. They exercise independent professional judgement, and they may decline to issue a letter. We do not instruct them, review their clinical decisions, or pay them for a particular outcome.

3. What registration is not

This clause is the most important one in the document, so it is stated in plain terms rather than buried.

Registration with us is convenience documentation. It does not create, confer, certify or evidence any legal right. It grants no rights under the Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Air Carrier Access Act, or any state or local law. It does not require any landlord, airline, hotel, restaurant, shop, employer or other party to admit or accommodate your animal. It is not a government document, a licence, a certification, or proof of a disability. No registry operated by anyone confers legal rights, and no government registry of emotional support animals exists in the United States.

4. Your obligations

  • Give accurate information. A registration record built on false information is void, and we may cancel it without refund.
  • Do not present an emotional support animal as a service animal. Several states make that a punishable offence, and doing it with a card issued by us is a breach of these terms.
  • Do not alter, forge or reproduce our ID cards, documents or lookup records.
  • Comply with the law where you live regarding animal ownership, licensing, vaccination and control.
  • You are responsible for your animal’s behaviour at all times, including any damage or injury it causes.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register or to purchase the clinician add-on. Products are offered to residents of the United States. We may decline or cancel any registration at our discretion, with a refund of amounts paid for the part not delivered.

6. Fees and payment

Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in US dollars. Fees for the clinician add-on cover the clinician’s professional time and our service costs. They are not a payment for a letter, and no letter is promised by paying them. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including articles, design, graphics and the card templates, belongs to us or our licensors. You may read, print and share it for personal, non commercial use with attribution. You may not republish it commercially, scrape it in bulk, or use it to train a model without written permission. The ID card we issue to you is yours to use for its intended purpose and not to reproduce or resell.

8. Third party sites

We link to government agencies, courts, licensing boards and research. We do not control those sites, and a link is not an endorsement.

9. No warranty on outcomes

We provide the site and the products as they are. We do not warrant that any housing provider, airline or other party will accept any document, or that any accommodation request will succeed. Those decisions belong to the party making them. Nothing on this site is legal or medical advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the site or any product is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a denied accommodation, a lost tenancy, a refused boarding, or costs arising from a decision made by a third party. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of a card or document we issue, from misrepresenting your animal’s status, or from your animal’s conduct.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Terms in force at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.

13. Termination

You may stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your registration record, subject to the retention periods in the privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Taylor County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction.
