Trust and legal

Everything that governs how this site works, what we publish, where our money comes from, and what your registration does and does not do. All of it in plain language, none of it hidden in a footer nobody reads.

How we work

Editorial policy

The claims we will never publish, our source hierarchy, how we use AI tools, and how corrections are handled.

How we review content

Two independent reviews, legal and clinical, before anything publishes. Either can block a piece.

Editorial team

Who writes, who reviews, and who is accountable for what.

How we make money

The whole revenue model, including the two conflicts of interest it creates.

Our clinicians

The licensed professionals who conduct evaluations, named with their credentials so you can check them against the state board register.

Accessibility

What we build to, what is in place, and the limitations we know about.

Legal documents

Terms of service

What we provide, what registration is not, your obligations, liability, and governing law.

Privacy policy

What we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

Refund policy

Including a full refund of the consultation fee if the clinician declines to write a letter.

Disclaimer

Not legal advice, not medical advice, and exactly what an ID card does and does not do.

The one line that matters most

Registration with us, or with anyone, is convenience documentation. It creates no right under the Fair Housing Act, the ADA or the Air Carrier Access Act, and no government registry of emotional support animals exists in the United States. What carries weight for a housing accommodation is a letter from a clinician licensed in your state. Any site that tells you otherwise is selling you something on a false premise.
